Pelican IMPACT – Improving the Management of Patients with Advanced Colorectal Tumours 2018

The 2018 Pelican IMPACT – Improving the Management of Patients with Advanced Colorectal Tumours meeting will take place at The Mater Misericordiae University Hospital, Dublin, December 10.

Pelican IMPACT is a national programme which Pelican and the Association of Coloproctology of Great Britain and Ireland are running in 2018 and 2019.  The programme has been designed by an expert steering committee.

The objective of IMPACT is  ‘improving outcomes through enhancing early or timely access to specialist advice and services where appropriate, but most importantly through utilizing local and regional expertise wherever possible, and to the maximum benefit for each individual patient’ or helping each patient to get the right treatment, at the right place, at the right time for them’.

Each colorectal team is allocated 7 free places for this workshop; a surgeon, radiologist, oncologist, palliative care specialist, CNS and pathologist.  There will be a charge of £95GBP per person for additional places or if different specialists wish to attend.
